For the whole new ballgame: alter egos project, I had to pick a minor league baseball team and rebrand them for their alternate identity night. The team I picked was the Delmarva Shorebirds, located in Maryland, representing the peninsula of Delmarva. I had to pick an identity that fits the location and audience of the Shorebirds. Through research, I found a story from April 2021 of a man who went viral for posting a video of his pet deer in the passenger seat of his car, thus, The Deer Riders was created. The final deliverables were logos, team uniform, merchandise, and promotions for the night.

The first 500 people who enter the stadium would receive deer antler headbands.

A photo booth with the front seats of a car. A statue of a deer in the passenger seat so people can take pictures like they were in the car with Bambi.

Timed go-karting racing competition in the parking lot. Scores are shown on the Jumbotron between batting. Winner gets season passes and merch.
