about
As an emerging designer in Visual Communications focusing on theatrical graphic design and UX/UI design my goal is to create meaningful, emotionally resonant experiences. My foundation in leadership roles, such as Senior Resident Assistant and Secretary for Blue Hen Bounty, has shaped my ability to solve problems, communicate, and collaborate. These roles have taught me how to listen, strategize, and advocate. These skills directly influence my approach to inclusive and user-centered design.
My passion for design began with being cast in my first theater production. Immersed in a creative environment, it became clear how powerful storytelling could be, not just through performance, but through the visuals that bring a story to life. Set pieces, lighting, and graphic elements all work together to create an emotional experience. That moment sparked my interest in design as a way to connect people and create imaginative narratives. Whether for a live audience or a digital user, each project is approached with the goal of balancing functionality and emotional impact to create meaningful, lasting experiences.
My aspiration is to contribute to a creative hub where ideas flow freely and each project fosters growth, ideals that align with teams who prioritize collaboration, experimentation, and purpose-driven creativity. I am eager to refine UX/UI skills using tools like Figma, Adobe Suites, Illustrator, and Photoshop, while remaining adaptable to emerging technologies and evolving design systems.
My passion for using color, interaction, layout, and motion inspires me to tell meaningful stories through design; design serves as a way to connect people and ideas, creating experiences that spark conversation and foster connection.
